Start your new year off right with permaculture, community, support and transformation.
A permaculture course like no other. Join me every 1st and 3rd Saturday at my permaculture property in Joshua Tree to learn and practice all the things I care about:
- Permaculture principles & best practices in the desert
- Desert gardening
- Harvesting and processing native foods
- Propagating plants
- Seed saving, food preserving
- Making sauerkraut, sourdough, cheese & yogurt
- Water harvesting earthworks, rainwater catchment, greywater systems
- Compost, soil, food forests
- Community thriving tools -attunment, empathy, working with group dynamics
- Feedback and coaching for your best life -permaculture, integral life practice, parenting, nutrition, relationships and more!
- Honoring and celebrating the cycles of nature, including your own body, mind and soul.
Tuition includes two in person classes a month where we’ll connect, check in, workshop skills, and get some coaching on projects you’re working on. No more going at it alone and feeling burnt out, isolated, and discouraged. You’ll have a support team and cheering squad to walk with on this path of living your values. Lesson portions will be filmed and available online to reference any time. We have an app based community to stay in touch, celebrate, trouble shoot, and connect.
I’m a permaculture designer and teacher who has lived, gardened, harvested, cooked, and homeschooled in Joshua Tree for over 20 years. I’m a kitchen witch and lover of ease. I practice the art of Frugal Hedonism. I’ve participated in more than 5 (I lost count) full permaculture design certification courses. I’m trained in Revaluation Counseling, and have studied developmental psychology, NVC, Somatic nervous system regulation, and Wayfinding Coaching. I’m a lifelong learner and seeker. Right now what I care about most is building community for human thriving and relationship with the land. I like to ask myself “what could go right? How good can it get?”

Spring Term Dates: 1/10, 1/24 (2nd and 4th Saturdays this month), 2/7, 2/21, 3/7, 3/21, 4/11 & 4/25 (2nd and 4th saturdays for MUSD spring break.) 5/2, 5/16
